Pine The Pilcrow - If It's True Single Review

Pine The Pilcrow are a 4 piece avant garde folk band from Dublin, Clare and Monaghan. The band consists of Kevin Murray, Hannah Ryan, Robert Campbell and newest member Shay Sweeney. It's been almost 2 years since they released their incredible "Only Ghosts" EP so it's great to welcome them back with their latest single "If It's True". The band have had to cancel their April dates but as of right now, their June dates in Galway, Slane and Dundalk are still going ahead. I make no bones about the fact that I'm a huge fan of Pine The Pilcrow so yes this review may be biased but whatever.

Watch the video for "If It's True":

"If It's True" is the first of three planned singles this year all produced by the acclaimed Alex Borwick. The song is incredibly atmospheric and full of depth. As with all of Pine The Pilcrow's music, you listen with your ears but also with your heart. Once the song begins, the listener is committed to the very last note. It's simply exquisite.
