Having started his musical journey in 2017, Luke Jackson and his breakthrough year in 2019 were he sold out his debut headline show at Whelan's and played festivals such as Vantastival and Indiependence. He has also supported Little Hours, Hudson Taylor and Aslan. The praise keeps coming for Jaxson as he was named by Golden Plec as 'one to watch' and was also called "the future of Irish music" by Today FM's Fergal D'arcy.

This Friday, March 27th, JaXson will release his brand new single "Better". He describes the single being about "...coming out the other side of a dark, difficult situation with a new perspective on life. One night I lay awake until dawn, watching night turn to day. Despite it being so dark and cold; when the sun rose and it was the start of a brand new day, I was able to see things more clearly. This normal, every-day situation reflected a dark period of my life which I was looking for a way to deal with. I was able to take inspiration from that sunrise and realise that no matter how difficult your life gets, no matter how bad a situation is, there is always going to be a light at the end of the tunnel and that tomorrow is a brand new day.”

"Better" is a pop ballad which demonstrates the raw power of JaXson's vocals. The music builds and builds to lull you in and then comes this strong voice. There's definitely a tonne of emotion behind the lyrics and that comes through in the vocals. The track is made for radio and is destined to receive an incredible amount of radio play.
