The Grey Merchant - Blood Book Single Review

The Grey Merchant are a shoe gaze band from Cork. They released their debut album "Avenue De Rennes" in 2017. It's been quiet on the music front from the three piece who have now become a five piece. However, they're now back with their first single "Blood Book" which is taken from their upcoming second album "The Claude Glass" due in early 2020.
"Blood Book" was recorded in Cork, mixed by CiarĂ¡n O'Shea in Whitewall Studios, Berlin and mastered at the infamous Abbey Road Studio with Alex Wharton.

"Blood Book" is incredible. Within moments you can tell it's going to be awesome. The addition of two new band members has really given the band a new dimension with a much fuller sound. The underlying beat coupled with the juxtaposition of the sedate vocals and the screaming chorus is nothing short of magnificent.
February can't come quick enough. The new album is bound to be immense.
