"Adams" is the second EP from Sonja Sleator. Sleator is a Belfast based singer songwriter who has gigged in places such as Nashville, LA, New Orleans and San Francisco to name a few. The EP was recorded at Millbank Studios in Lisburn with highly regarded producer Michael Mormecha.

"Pour The Vodka" gets the EP off to a pensive beginning. It is a track full of reflection and longing. A good opener for "Adams". The second track "Calla" is a much more upbeat and in your face song. It has a certain Evan Dando/Lemonheads quality about it.
"Mia" is an absolute gem of a song. It's such a feel good track and will have you dancing around singing the chorus despite the lugubrious lyrics.
"Mistake On My Part" is again a cracking tune which has that Evan Dando feel to it. Sonja writes some very thoughtful lyrics and delivers them vividly.
The slightly more rockier "Murder" is the penultimate track. It is another lost-love song which seems to be the trend on the EP but each song is conveyed in a different style which makes it more exciting for the listener.
"Cambria Moon" is the perfect way to end the EP with it's soothing vocals and relaxing tones. The song was inspired by Sonja's travels across America.

"Adams" is a phenomenal EP with not one flaw. There are some amazing songs on here but "Mia" in particular stole the show. Sonja Sleator has a very bright future ahead of her and her success has boundless potential.

Logan J. Parker - Blue Single Review

Logan J Parker is a singer songwriter from Portugal but currently residing in London. Just a couple of weeks ago I reviewed her single Cry Cry Cry and now she returns with her latest single Blue. About the song, Logan says " Blue is another sad song I wrote about the lockdown and it's dedicated to my mother and best friend Rita. Without her, I wouldn't be a musician." Watch the video here: Blue is a quirky upbeat jazz track and is Logan's first foray into the ukulele. The happy vibes of the music and Logan's vocal delivery masks the sadness in the lyrics. Foot Squeaker - No Connection Single Review

Foot Squeaker are a three piece rock band from Gorey, Wexford. The band is made up of Diarmuid Comerford, Mick Byrne and Mike Lynch. They formed in 2018 when Diarmuid and Mike wanted to start a band with one rule: keep it hard and fast. In 2019, Mick joined the fold and the band rehearsed for the next several months. Their first gig was at The Gap Arts Festival where they received a great reception. In January 2020, the band recorded four track at Hellfire Studios in Dublin. The first to be released will be the band's debut single  No Connection on May 29th. The song was tracked live during the recording session.
