Finnian - Even Flow Single Review

Dundalk songwriter Finnian has been touring extensively for the past few years across Europe and around Ireland. He recently toured with the incredible David Keenan where he garnered attention and high praise. He has spent a lot of time perfecting his sound and finding the right band for his project.
Finnian has also just announced details of his upcoming debut album "Under The Influence". The album is due to be released this summer with the first single and Finnian's debut single "Even Flow" being released on March 26th. And no, it's not a Pearl Jam cover. The album was recorded onto cassette to mimic a 1970's style production. The album was produced in Black Mountain Recording Studio and mixed by Grammy award winner Ben Kane who has worked with the likes of Norah Jones and The Roots. The album also features some top Irish talent in the form of Jess Kav from BARQ and Booka Brass.

"Even Flow" is a really impressive debut single which is incredibly chilled out and relaxed. Finnian's vocals are akin to those of Ray Lamontagne and plays nicely with the female vocals on the track. If this is a sign of things to come then the album should be a cracker.
