Ruth Brosnan is a singer songwriter from Co. Cork. After completing her BA in Popular Music at Cork School Of Music, Ruth then headed to Los Angeles to learn more about the music industry. It was on this trip that she entered The Great American Song Contest and has reached the final with her single "Good Enough". "Good Enough" is a powerful contemporary pop song which is packed full of emotion that inspires the listener to rid themselves of negative thoughts and presents them with a soul lifting energy. Ruth wrote the song to help others get through tough times after the loss of her own mother to suicide. The video, which can be seen below, is just as powerful. Lyle Carlos Garces or LCG as he's better known is originally from Cebu City, Philippines but has made Dublin his home for many years now. He is a hip hop and spoken word artist who strongly believes in cultures integrating which is evident on his brilliant brand new single "Freedom". It's got the top quality hip hop that he is notorious for and it's also got a really cool jazz vibe just to up the funk levels. It's good to have LCG back making music and hopefully it won't be another 4 year wait for the next one. For Adio are a pop rock 4 piece from Carlow.  The group is made up of Jake Doyle, Jason Fagan, Lauris Millers and Evan Lacey. Having only formed in February 2018, they have already won Athlone's National Battle Of The Bands and went on to support Bagatelle and Aslan. They have been busy gigging around Ireland in venues such as Fibber Magee's in Dublin, The Theatre Royal in Waterford and The Imperial Bar in Cavan to name a few. They have also recently released their debut single "Recipe" which was recorded in Abbey Lane Recording Studios in Drogheda. "Recipe" is an upbeat feel good catchy pop song. It is bound to be a big hit as it has great playability and can easily be imagined getting the crowd singing along and dancing at festivals. A great track to get the party started. Owen McKavanagh is an 18 year old singer songwriter from Belfast, Co. Down. He began singing in choirs and then musical theatre from a young age. Owen lists Elton John, Billy Joel, Freddie Mercury, Lewis Capaldi and Bruno Mars amongst his inspirations. He has recently released his debut single "Free As A Bird". "Free As A Bird" is a brilliant power pop ballad from Owen McKavangh. His voice is powerful and engaging. It captivates you immediately. The song also has quite a few moments of pure emotion which really showcases his musical theatre background. With such a good debut single, it will be interesting to see how Owen follows it up. One thing is for sure though and that is that you should be keeping a close eye on him.
